Orlando, Fla., – The Women’s
Outdoor Media Association, thewoma.
com, launched to an enthusiastic
group of outdoor communicators and
professionals on Sat., Jan. 17, at the
National Shooting Sports Foundation’s
annual Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor
Trades Show. Attendees met four of
the five board members, asked
questions and learned about the
framework of the organization.
Thewoma.com is an association
geared for people who work or
volunteer to communicate with (and
about) women in the outdoor fields of
shooting sports and/or hunting and
fishing traditions. Its intention is to
enhance other media organizations.
The difference is that the focus of
thewoma.com is on what women are
doing and what is being done for them
in the outdoor areas of shooting
sports, hunting and fishing
